Weight: 30lbs 4oz (on our scale this morning)
Head Circ: 19.5″
Still 90th+ percentile for everything. He’s pretty much stopped gaining weight (it fluctuates up and down a few ounces), but he is getting taller.
Here he is today with the lunch he got out for himself (lemon juice and salsa) and the lunch he stole from me (hummus, pita, and tomato slices). He ended up eating 1/2 pita with hummus, 3 tomato slices, and 3/4 of a grilled cheese.
Then his diaper started falling out his shorts legs because, once again, he had unfastened it! Grrr….
We decided that we’re going to run off on a short trip to Omaha next month.
Wonder if Steve could be convinced of our need for this (a car dvd player):
Wes says all the cool kids have them.
In other news, we tried to give Wes cow’s milk again and he’s handling it much better than he did a few months ago. So, unless coconut milk is on super duper sale (it’s almost double the price of whole milk), he’ll be getting cow’s milk. 🙂
Today we went to a playplace so Steve could see what fun it is! We always go during the week without him. We ended up playing for over 1.5 hours, lots of fun! Changed Wes’s diaper and thought we’d head to Chick-fil-a for lunch, but Wes had other plans- he fell asleep in the car! So we ended up driving around looking at fancy houses and talking about what we’d want our next house to look like. We have no plans to move for at least another 3 years, but just getting ideas and trying to figure out which city/area we’d want to live in. Wes finally woke up after a hour and we went for lunch, then Home Depot. Then we headed home to relax for the rest of the day. 🙂
1. Our almost 17-month-old!
2. In the bounce house making a basket with his Dad.
3. Sippin’ his juice at Chick-fil-a.
Valerie: What does a rooster say?
Wesley: Hi ya!
I put an asterisk by the new words/sounds/etc….
ball (more like dahl, he doesn’t have the B sound down at all)
*eeeei eei (monkey noise)
*nay (horse noise)
*moo moo (sometimes just ‘mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm’ for cow)
He knows the signs for:
Body parts he can point out (only can say ‘eye’):
